The GEMA MDC 400 Bundle Module + Heating Cartridge EEHPPV6 6.0 kW 400 V combines an MDC 400 heating module with a matching electric heating cartridge for central heating systems. The bundle is suitable for additional electric heat input into the heating circuit and supports existing primary heat generators in professionally installed systems.

Technology & Equipment
The MDC 400 module forms the hydraulic base body for the heating circuit. It is designed for water or a suitable glycol mixture up to 50% concentration, features 50 mm polyurethane foam thermal insulation, and is connected to the heating circuit via female threads G 1 1/4 inch.
The electric heating cartridge EEHPPV6 operates at 6.0 kW at 3~ 400 V. It features 3-stage power selection, temperature control in the range of approx. 5 to 75 °C, and a safety temperature limiter against overheating.

Assembly
The heating module is integrated into the parallel heating circuit on the flow or return line of the main heat source. Before switching on, the module and the system must be completely filled with water and vented.
Assembly, electrical connection, and testing are tasks for qualified professionals. The minimum flow rate of 343 l/h must be ensured; for this purpose, an additional circulation pump must be provided, which is operated together with the heating cartridge.
Notes
Dry running must be avoided, as it can cause damage to the heating element and lead to safety risks. The device may only be operated with suitable safety devices and a functioning safety valve.
