The Lovato Bomber 100B pedestal heat pump buffer tank is an ultra-flat 100-liter mini buffer tank for heat pump systems. It provides buffer volume in the heating or cooling circuit and supports the required minimum water content for stable heat pump operation.
Thanks to its rectangular design, the Bomber 100B can also be used as a compact outdoor pedestal under a heat pump. This makes it particularly suitable for systems where there is no additional space indoors for a classic buffer tank.
Technology & Equipment
The Lovato Bomber 100B is designed for heating and cooling applications with heat pumps. The weather-resistant thermal insulation, powder-coated outer cover, and corrosion-protected hydraulic module enable outdoor use.
Equipment includes adjustable support feet, two manual vent valves, adjustable universal heat pump support brackets, and connection options for inlet and outlet with F 1 inch / M 1 1/4 inch. In addition, preparation for connecting an expansion vessel is provided.

The Bomber 100B combines buffer volume and pedestal function in a single component. This allows the heat pump to be installed space-savingly while the tank is integrated directly into the heating or cooling circuit.
The design supports orderly flow guidance, low pressure losses, and venting via the manually operated vent valves. The adjustable feet facilitate leveling on a suitable, load-bearing surface.
System Integration & Compatibility
The Lovato Bomber 100B is designed for heat pump systems with heating or cooling operation. It can be used in systems with underfloor heating, heating circuit distribution, or other hydraulic components, provided the planning for the heat pump and the overall system is suitable.
The permissible maximum load for the installation of the heat pump is 200 kg. The hydraulic connection, pressure maintenance, frost protection strategy, and condensate drainage must be planned appropriately for the system and carried out by qualified personnel.

Installation
The unit must be installed on a load-bearing, level surface suitable for outdoor installation. The tank is aligned using the adjustable support feet before the heat pump is positioned on the adjustable support brackets.
The hydraulic connections must be made without stress and protected against frost, dirt, vibration, and mechanical stress. Pressure maintenance, safety valves, condensate drainage, and frost protection must be planned to suit the overall system.
